Youth Ministry
Junior Highs (6th, 7th, and 8th grade) meet at 4:30 p.m. on Sundays

Senior Highs (th9 through 12th grade) meet at 6:00 p.m. on Sundays

Every summer our youth group (8th through 12th grade) go on a mission trip to a different part of the country to learn about other cultures, ethnic groups and economic circumstances from our Christian perspective.  While on these trips, the students have opportunites for hands on service to people in the community.  They learn that as a group or as an individual they can make a positive impact on the lives of others.

In past years we have visited two different Native American reservations, helped with Katrina clean-up in New Orleans, experienced poverty, joblessness, and immigrant neighborhoods in West Virginia, and New York City.  This year we are looking forward to our trip to inner city Philadelphia.

All 6th through 12th graders are welcome to join our youth group activities on Sunday night.  We are a group of teens from several school districts including Peters Township.

Announcements

We have concluded our week of VBS and we had a wonderful time.  The children donated food for the local food pantry and money to help a buy an animal to help us stock the ark we are loading for the Heifer Project.
