Put God in the Center of Your Life!
Centre Presbyterian Church
On April 16, 1828, Centre Presbyterian Church was given permission by the Presbytery of Ohio to construct a meeting house on the land of Daniel Bell and to organize a congregation. It received its name “Centre” from the fact that it was equidistant from the four existing Presbyterian Churches of that time; Bethany, Chartiers, Mingo, and Bethel.

Early in 1852, the present building was ready for the weekly worship services which were held in the original building just a short distance north of the present one. Twenty ministers have directed the work of the parish and labored for the people of the community. Center Church has approximately 450 members.

Announcements

We have concluded our week of VBS and we had a wonderful time.  The children donated food for the local food pantry and money to help a buy an animal to help us stock the ark we are loading for the Heifer Project.

Visit our photo album to see some of the highlights.

God bless all the children and their families!

Thought of the Day
