Youth MinistryJunior and Senior Highs (5th - 12th grade) meet on Sunday evenings for some time to deepen their faith. We are a group of teens from several school districts. Friends are always welcome.
Every summer our youth group (8th through 12th grade) go on a mission trip to a different part of the country to learn about other cultures, ethnic groups, and economic circumstances from our Christian perspective. While on these trips, the students have opportunities for hands-on service to people in the community. They learn that, as a group or as an individual, they can make a positive impact on the lives of others. In past years, we have visited two different Native American reservations, twice helped with the Katrina clean-up in New Orleans, and experienced poverty, joblessness, and immigrant neighborhoods in West Virginia, New York City, and Philadelphia. Our Intergenerational Mission Trip for 2015 is heading to Baltimore, Maryland. This urban environment will place us right in the community with those to whom we will be reach out. We plan on several fundraisers to help pay costs so keep an eye out for those links. |

If you're looking for a Christian camp opportunity, take a look at Pine Springs Camp in Jennerstown, PA. Center Church will pay half of the cost of camp for our active Sunday School children.
