Center Presbyterian Church believes that it is better to work with capable, proven organizations who are clearly doing Kingdom work than it is to try to reinvent the wheel. For this reason, we deeply value and are deeply invested in our mission partners. These partners are quite often Christian organizations, but not always (for example, the Greater Washington County Food Bank – while not Christian – does a very good job of feeding God’s sheep). Our main goal in working with mission partners are to find the very best local and international organizations that embody God’s redemptive love for His people. In addition to having Mission Partners, Center Presbyterian Church also happily serves many Community Partners who provide a myriad of important services to our community.

Local Mission Partners

Center Church has a longstanding history of providing financial gifts and volunteers to this organization. Acting as a support church to our neighbor, Trinity Methodist Church, our volunteers perform a multitude of tasks in this role several times each year. Contact the church office for details.

Presbyterian Ethiopian Partnership

Presbyterian Ethiopian Partnership donations purchase apple seedlings and cover the money required for nurturing and protecting the 2 orchards in our Ethiopian partner synod.  Apples are a new and successful crop to other farmers in the Chimcha area of Ethiopia.  We hope that these orchards will help support the 2 Presbyteries and their neighbors.
